Junion joined the Office of Advancement in late 2015. Prior to, he provided development consulting services to public policy organizations dedicated to a more free, engaged society and a university-based center advancing the ideas of economic liberty. He discovered his passion for working with likeminded philanthropists as a Major Gifts Officer at one of the nation’s leading state-based think tanks.

Formerly a professional political operative, Junion is a veteran of numerous candidate and issue campaigns at the national, state and local level. He served as the National Rifle Association-Institute for Legislative Action Campaign Field Representative in Arizona during the 2012 election.

Junion is an honors graduate of Arizona State University. He takes every opportunity to shoot sporting clays and introduce new friends to the shooting sports. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he can be found exploring off-road trails across the Southwest in his Jeep and hiking the backcountry in pursuit of the history of the Old West.
