What It Means To Us

"The Ring of Freedom means we can let freedom be part of our lives by putting our money where our mouth is." — Al & Marsha Petrie Sue

Ways to Donate

Whether you elect to contribute now or later, prefer to give a cash or non-cash gift, or opt in on one of the workplace giving opportunities—all of the choices are yours.

Corporate Partners

The NRA Corporate Partners Program enables corporations and organizations to help ensure the future of America's hunting and shooting traditions. Those that make a commitment to the NRA are recognized at various NRA Ring of Freedom levels.

Firearms For Freedom

Guns you donate now can help preserve our American way of life in the future—and possibly provide you tax deductions and other benefits. Your firearms helped define your life. Now, let them be your legacy. NRA Firearms For Freedom is a unique program supporting the liberties that built this country through gifts of firearms.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts enable every NRA supporter to leave a legacy and thereby help defend freedom. Each gift helps ensure the NRA will continue to secure the Second Amendment for generations to come. Donors, Heritage Society members and their professional advisors are all an integral part of defending this freedom.

Strategic Giving

Whenever you’re considering charitable giving, remember that it’s as important to plan for your philanthropic activities as it is for your other financial commitments. Strategic Giving gifts are one-time or recurring cash gifts that can be paid by check or credit card.

Workplace Giving

If 100,000 NRA members set aside just 50¢ per week from their paychecks, that would add up to $2.6 million per year. Some of the workplace giving campaigns you can participate in include the Combined Federal Campaign, government employee campaign and matching gifts.

“Without the right to keep and bear arms we wouldn’t have free speech, a free press, a constitutional government, our American way of life. The Second Amendment protects all our basic individual freedoms.”

—John & Kathi Schumann,  Ring of Freedom Members

“I like being a part of a democracy. I like being free. I like being able to vote without threat. And I don’t want any of that compromised. And I feel the NRA and the Ring of Freedom and many of their other programs safeguard that for me now and I want to help safeguard it for other generations.”

—Janet Nyce,  Ring of Freedom Member

“We're selling the Bill of Rights and the Bill of Rights can't be sold. You can't give up one to protect another, you have to have them all.”

—John A. "Andy" Anderson,  Ring of Freedom Member

“If you’re able to support a cause you believe in—whether it’s with your talent, your time or your money—you ought to do so, and you ought to be recognized.”

—Ron & Ann Schmeits,  Ring of Freedom Members

“The efforts of the NRA are critical to the future of the country.”

—James Debney,  Ring of Freedom Member

“NRA is the group that's going to protect our freedoms. Without them, we'd lose everything.”

—Larry & Brenda Potterfield,  Golden Ring of Freedom Founding Members
